Rick McGinley RESPONSIBILITIES: President, engineering sales and product marketing Rick co-founded DAC Sales in 1991, and has over 30 years of HVAC engineering and sales experience. Rick specializes in air-to-air energy recovery, custom air handling, variable air volume systems, humidification systems and critical environment ventilation equipment. Before starting DAC Sales, Rick worked his way from manager of John Oldach Associates in Portland to the president of Oldach Northeast. He was the president of an energy audit and service company and the Solar Program manager of the Maine Office of Energy Resources. Rick is a graduate of Syracuse University. Rick and his wife Sue have been married 35 years, and have three children – Shannon, Sarah and Ian – a son-in-law, Josh, and one grandson, Jonah. Rick is an avid road and mountain cyclist, hiker, back-country skier, squash player and yogi. |

Jim Shiminski RESPONSIBILITIES: Director of sales and marketing, business manager, engineering sales and project management Jim joined DAC Sales in 1993, and has over 20 years of executive and sales experience. Before joining the DAC Sales team, Jim was the owner and president of a Portland, Maine manufacturing firm and spent six years managing the operations of oceangoing tank vessels for Exxon Company, retiring as a Chief Mate. Jim has a BA in Marine Management from New York Maritime College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Jim lives in Cape Elizabeth and Long Island, Maine with his wife of 20 years, Linda. His son Craig and daughter-in-law Kate recently welcomed baby Ellie. Jim is active in community theater and is an avid cycler, gardener and amateur chef. He has volunteered for the Big Brothers program for over 20 years. |

Teri Shannon RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineering sales and product marketing Teri joined DAC Sales in 2000 and has over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales and customer service. She has been very involved with the Boston ASHRAE Chapter for over 7 years. She served as the Chapter newsletter editor for four years, and currently is serving as the Chapter Vice President, Membership Promotion Chair (3rd year), and on the Board of Governors. Teri lives in North Berwick, Maine, and is the proud mom of three grown children – Jessica, Joshua and Jordan. She is a committed community volunteer, serving on a citizens advisory board and helping to fundraise for her dance troupe. Teri enjoys tennis, dance, softball and concerts. |

David Goodman RESPONSIBILITIES Engineering sales and project management David came to DAC Sales in 2004 with ten years of experience in field service, handling equipment installations, start-ups, owner training and operations. David has transitioned to sales engineering and technical support, acting as product manager, applications engineer and regional sales manager during his time here. His previous work also includes project management, equipment troubleshooting, quality management and technical writing. Many owners and engineers request David by name for site visits examining existing AHUs and HVAC systems, and for creating potential energy recovery implementation methods. David presents DAC products in meetings and Lunch and Learn sessions. His technical expertise, work ethic and commitment to customer service have made him invaluable to our team. He is a proud graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a BA in Marine Engineering. David lives in Wayland, Massachusetts with his wife Aga and sons Mike and Josh. |

Chris Libby RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer service, sales support and project management Chrissy joined DAC in 2005 with over 30 years of experience in customer service. Before joining our team, she was the operations manager for an industrial pump distributor focused on the educational, real estate and construction markets. Chrissy lives in Shapleigh, Maine with her husband of 26 years, Lewis, and her daughter Kelley and son-in-law Joe. Chrissy loves spinning, boxing, camping and fishing in her boat, the S.S. Rock ‘n Troll. Chrissy has also volunteered for the children’s camp, Camp Laughing Loon, for 12 years. |

Pat Will RESPONSIBILITIES Engineering sales and project management Pat joined DAC Sales in 2007 and specializes in the design and sales of custom air-to-air energy recovery systems, air handling units and humidification/dehumidification/dessicant systems. Pat founded his own organizational development consulting company after 15 years in management and engineering positions at National Semiconductor, Fairchild Semiconductor, Texas Instruments and Digital Equipment Corp. Pat has a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Southern Maine. Pat lives in Falmouth, Maine with Carol, his wife of eight years, and their son Chesley. Pat loves road and mountain cycling, squash, downhill and back-country skiing and hiking, camping and canoeing. |

Steve Shelley, II RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineering sales and project management Steve joined DAC Sales in 2010, bringing 19 years experience in HVAC and energy efficiency. Steve spent six years as a manufacturer’s representative for custom air handling equipment, energy recovery units, chillers, fans, variable speed drives and lab controls in the New England region. He worked closely with engineers on the selection and design of equipment, with owners on project development and product choices, and with contractors on the sale, installation and implementation of products. Steve also worked as an HVAC sales engineer in New York City on several marquee construction projects, and began his career in the energy efficiency field with Boston Edison, developing energy audits and cost/benefit analyses. Steve is a graduate of the University of Vermont. Steve maintains close ties to Vermont, especially on winter ski weekends, and lives in Marshfield, Massachusetts. |

Deena Labbe Responsibility: Sales support, customer service accounting, office administration Deena joined DAC in 2011. Deena brings 20 years of sales, customer service and management experience to the DAC team. She spent six years with a local packaging company. Deena started in customer service and moved into the sales. She successfully met and exceeded her business goals. Deena was also a Sgt in the US Air Force which she is very proud to be called “veteran”. Deena resides in Maine with her husband Michael and daughter Sarah 6. Enjoys reading and spending time with her family. |

Darrell Kohr RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer service, engineering and project management Darrell joined DAC Sales in 2011, bringing executive and field experience to the team. Darrell was the part-owner of KFK Machine Facility for three years, worked as an application engineer for almost 12 years and spent two years in customer service. Darrell is certified in AutoCAD by the Wentworth Institute. |

Craig Ashman RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineering sales and project management Craig joined DAC Sales in 2012, bringing 12 years of experience in personnel and project management to our team. A natural salesperson, adept multitasker and gifted manager, Craig excels in high pressure work environments. Craig is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina. Craig lives in Cape Elizabeth, Maine with his wife Kate and daughter Ellie. He loves cooking, and enjoying outdoor activities with his new family. |
